Nuala O’Faolain

NUALA O'FAOLAIN (1940–2008) was one of Ireland’s best-loved journalists and writers. She came to international attention and received critical acclaim for her two volumes of memoir, Are you Somebody? (1996) and Almost There (2003). She also wrote the novel, My Dream of You (2001), Best Love, Rosie (2009) and a history with commentary, The Story of Chicago May (2005). Her first three books were all New York Times Bestsellers.
