This week Eugene McCabes novel "The Love of Sisters" is being featured. Set in the late '40s and early '50s, Eugene McCabe's novel tells the story of two sisters, both traumatised by the untimely death of their mother. The elder, Patricia, is also scarred by the realities of other childhood experiences and a humiliating marraige. The younger, Carmel, is drawn to the religious life and has secluded herself in an enclosed order. Carmel's decision to leave the order throws the sisters back together..............
