Tom Galvin
Tom Galvin graduated from UCD and St Patrick’s College, Maynooth before leaving for Poland where he was based as a teacher with APSO, the state body for overseas development. There he began his career as a journalist with the Warsaw Voice and Radio Polonia, returning to Ireland in 2000 to work as a staff writer and later editor of In Dublin magazine. As a freelance journalist he has written for many newspapers, including the Evening Herald and The Irish Times, and as a eager travel writer for Backpacker and Abroad magazines
