You is Nuala's first novel, and tells the enchanting and at times heartbreaking story of a 10 year old girl growing up on the banks of the River Liffey in the 1980s. Narrated through the child's eyes as she describes life with her two brothers and her struggling mother, her naïve interpretations of adult conversations and behaviour is both charming and poignant.

Nuala has previously published short fiction and poetry to wide acclaim, her most recent short fiction collection being Nude, published by Salt Publishing last year.

You was launched at the Cúirt International Festival of Literature last weekend, 24th April.
