Patricia Scanlan

Patricia Scanlan was born in Dublin, where she still lives. While working as a librarian she started to write, and now has a full-time career as a bestselling author. Her previous bestsellers include: City Girl, Finishing Touches, Francesca’s Party, Two for Joy, Double Wedding, Divided Loyalties, Forgive and Forget and Happy Ever After.  She is the Series Editor and contributing author to the Open Door series, published by New Island. Furthermore, she teaches creative writing and is involved in adult literacy programmes.
