Tony Connelly

Tony Connelly was born in County Antrim in 1964 and educated at Trinity College Dublin. He is winner of two ESB national media awards and is currently RTE's Europe Correspondent, based in Brussels. He has also covered conflicts in Rwanda, Angola, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Georgia and Gaza.

In 2009, he published his first book, Don't Mention the Wars: A Journey through European Stereotypes, with New Island.
