Paul O’Brien

Paul O' Brien has carried out extensive research in relation to Irish and British military deploymnets during the Easter Rising 1916. He has written a number of works on the 1916 Rising focusing on the military aspects of Easter week. This original work has brought new life to the military history of the 1916 Rising. His next work: Field of Fire; 1916 and the Battle for Ashbourne will be published by New Island in September 2012. A keen collector of toy soldiers he currenly resides in Dublin.
