Maev-Ann Wren

Maev-Ann Wren is an award-winning Irish Times journalist and commentator. A Dubliner, she graduated from University College Dublin with a degree in history and economics and a masters in economics. In her career in journalism, she has reported from Dublin, Belfast and the United States, and she has worked as a financial reporter, economics editor, columnist, editorial writer and senior newspaper editor. Her series, 'An Unhealthy State' won her the 2001 National Media Award for newspaper analysis and comment. She is married with two children and lives in Dublin.
