Cathy Kelly
A former journalist, Cathy Kelly was born in Belfast, brought up in Dublin, and says she always wanted to write novels. After a career as a feature writer, agony aunt and film critic, she began to write her first novel, Woman To Woman, on her dining room table at nights and weekends.
It was published in 1997, became a number one bestseller, and launched her career as a best-selling novelist.
Since then, her bestselling novels have included She’s The One, Someone Like You, What She Wants, Always and Forever, Lessons in Heartbreak and Once in a Lifetime.
Her novels have been translated into many languages and sold worldwide. She also contributed to New Island’s successful and groundbreaking Open Door Series with her short novella Letter From Chicago and has written a piece for Mum's The Word: The Truth About Motherhood.
