Catherine Dunne

Originally a teacher at Greendale Community School, Catherine Dunne won an award at the Gerard Manley Hopkins Summer School in 1990, and issued In the Beginning, her first novel, in 1997. This was followed by A Name for Himself, short-listed for the Kerry Ingredients Book of the Year Award, The Walled Garden, and Another Kind of Life, published in February 2003. An Unconsidered People (New Island, 2003) was her first work of non-fiction. She lives in Dublin.
