Aubrey Malone

Aubrey Malone (author of Historic Pubs of Dublin) grew up in the west of Ireland and moved to Dublin in 1969. A full-time writer and journalist, his many books include fiction and biography and lighter works such as The Sayings of Brendan Behan and The Guinness Book of Humorous Irish Anecdotes. He has been a barman in both London and New York, but his apprenticeship in Dublin's pubs has been spent on the other side of the counter.
